Educar and RPM Announce Northern California Seminar

educar-classEducar Training, together with Reliable Product Marketing, is happy to announce a day-long audio training seminar in Northern California on December 4th, 2016. The focus is on improving car audio technical proficiency in integration and system performance from a commercial perspective.

  • Basics of sound
  • Core system design principles
  • Tuning for production, not competition
  • The Three Questions of OE Integration
  • Common pitfalls of OE Integration efforts
  • Ins and outs of various OE Integration devices
  • Tools required for effective production
  • Hands-on experiential learning

This course material is being presented by Ken Ward, principal of Educar Training, and a 30-year veteran of car audio. He has trained hundreds of installers over the years in technical support positions for various manufacturers, he is a past chair of the EIA Mobile Education Committee and past member of the MECP Steering Committee, and a contributor to past MECP tests and study guides.

Here are some reviews from actual seminar attendees (for more, see our Facebook page!):

“Until attending Ken’s class at Knowledgefest in Indy, I had never used an RTA to measure the signal side of an audio system. I have been installing OE integration audio processors regularly for almost 10 years and was told we had to process, and the we needed to sum. I go to just about any local training that come my way and nobody ever really said when and why to sum and process. We would find every wire we could feed into a processor and start pushing button and clicking the mouse.  In the Educar class, he goes over the tools you need and how to use them effectively to measure the car’s audio signals. The Three Question process guides you to better understand the vehicle factory audio’s benefits and short comings. Being armed with the ability to see what the car’s factory audio is doing allows you to better pick the proper equipment for the job. This benefits both you and your clients. I shudder to think how much time I would have saved if I had known all this. I can say for certain this class will benefit anyone in car audio. Retail salespeople, technicians, and sales reps can all learn to do a better more effective job from Ken’s classes.”

Dan Bowman of Tier One Motoring, Pennsylvania

“Hands-down the most valuable training I’ve ever attended. If you’re interested in learning how handle the most complex factory audio systems – and turn a profit doing it – this training is for you.”

Joshua Smith, Premier Autosound, Virginia
